Ward Al Makassed Shines in Various Fields

In light of the existing cooperation between the Robert Mouawad Foundation and Ward Al Makassed Center, the latter continued to provide hot meals to disadvantaged families three days per week, during the period between February 2022 and September 2022.

In October, the number of beneficiaries increased to 150 families for three days per week.

This project continues to move forward after it proved its success in alleviating the crisis off the shoulders of underprivileged families, as the number of meals prepared at the Center since the beginning of the project to date, that is, from May 2022 to February 2023, reached 16,800 meals for a family comprising three persons, indicating that the number of beneficiaries reached 50,400 people.

The Center also continued its cooperation with Kanz Restaurant / Beit Al Baraka, after the cheese maamoul prepared at the Center was added to the menu of their restaurant.

On the other hand, the Center’s collaboration with Middle East Airlines (MEA) sustained through selling women’s bags prepared by women at the Center on their planes. So far, 32 bags have been sold.
