By This issue of our quarterly newsletter is a very special one and we are proud to acknowledge that Makassed latest achievements are known by all communities across our country.
Despite the numerous political and financial difficulties in Lebanon which are worsening living conditions of our fellow citizens by the day, we are committed and ready to face challenges through the multiple projects that we launch and thanks to our inspiring and professional staff.
More than ever, we need the determination of our employees, who remain dedicated to preserving Makassed’s glorious history and strengthening its future legacy.
In this bulletin, you will find the most recent highlights of our academic, medical and social services.
In the field of education, students from Makassed schools and from our Vocational School and Training Center have obtained impressive grades in this year’s official exams. These results underline our firm commitment to provide a high-quality education – which we consider an invaluable basis for building the nation. Our youth deserve the best because they are our promise for a better future.
In the health care sector, Makassed General Hospital is under the spotlight for its unrivaled services, acquiring state of the art technologies and placing the comfort of patients and their families as a top priority. We strive tirelessly to improve its facilities, making sure they comply with international health guidelines on safe practice, medical comfort and recovery.
As for social services, Makassed remains an unconditional support of its community with all available means through partnerships with various local and international institutions and associations in order to provide accelerated vocational training and to support underprivileged families. We also take pride in Makassed Islamic Scouts and Makassed Volunteers Unit who play a prominent role in perfecting the social and technical skills of our youth.
Makassed will proudly continue to raise high the banner of Islamic values, through the teaching and memorizing of the Holy Qur’an, through caring for Muslim mosques and graveyards, and by joyfully celebrating the blessed Muslim occasions.
