Makassed Hospital Inks MOU with King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center

Makassed General Hospital signed a Memorandum of Understanding with King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center during a visit by a Makassed delegation to the Capital Amman.

The memorandum includes the exchange of experiences, the development of clinical guides and pathways for the optimal treatment of patients, participation in workshops and seminars for cancer diseases, the exchange of experiences for the success of a joint cooperation program, and working together on regional and global projects for the prevention of cancer, raising the ethical level of cancer treatment, and the crisis of displaced.

Makassed Association’s delegation comprised: Dr. Faisal Sinno, President of the Association, Mrs. Diana Tabbara, member of the Board of Trustees of the Association, Dr. Mohammad Ali Hamandi, Assistant Director General of the Association, Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim, Head of the Oncology and Hematology Department at Makassed Hospital, Ms. Reem Rabah, Director of Development and Fundraising Unit in Makassed Association.

The delegation kicked off its meetings with Dr. Iyad Sultan, Dr. Mayada Abu Shanab, and Dr. Salwa Saadeh, on behalf of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation.

The two delegations discussed the activities that will be carried out between the two parties, then the delegation, headed by Princess Ghida Talal, toured the hospital departments, where the delegation expressed its admiration for the high level of services provided to patients on the health, social, educational and recreational levels. After that, Princess Ghida Talal and Dr. Faisal Sinno signed a Memorandum of Understanding
