Basics and Principles of Laparoscopic Surgery Training Workshop
By Within the framework of a continuing medical education, the Department of Surgery at Makassed General Hospital, in cooperation with Applied Medical Company, held a three-day workshop in August 2023, on the rules and principles of laparoscopic surgery, under the supervision of a group of MGH general surgeons.
Dr. Mohammad Al-Haris, Chief Resident at the Department of General Surgery, Dr. Nihad Al-Zein, hospital-based Physician – Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Ms. Zainab Al-Dayekh, the nurse in charge of the Operations Department, conducted several lectures.
The workshop also included practical training on laparoscopic surgery for physicians in the departments of general surgery, urology, and gynecological surgery, under the supervision of the head of the Surgery department, Dr. Mohammad Al-Zaatari.
