Makassed Sponsors the 25th Qur’an Summer Course at Sibniyeh Mosque

On August 30th 2023, the administrative office of the Makassed mosques held a closing ceremony for the 25th yearly edition of the Holy Qur’an summer course at the Sibniyeh mosque. The event was supervised by Sheikh Hassan Mahmoud Al-Arab, Imam of the mosque, under the patronage of Makassed President Dr. Faisal Sinno, represented by member of the Board of Trustees, Eng. Bassam Barghout.
The ceremony started with a student reciting verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by Sheikh Al-Arab speech who thanked Makassed for its constant support towards the Holy Qur’an classes in particular and its contribution to the mosque in general.
Eng. Bassam Barghout then took the stage to congratulate participants on their memorizing and reciting of the Holy Qur’an, encouraging them to persevere and strive for useful knowledge, virtuous deeds and manners.
The event ended with a gifts’ distribution to the 80 students participating this year in the course as well as to employees of the mosque.
