Re-opening of Khalil Chehab Social Hall

The Khalil Chehab Mosque Committee in Ras Beirut area inaugurated its newly refurbished Social Hall, in the presence of Makassed President Dr. Faisal Sinno, the President of Beirut Families Union, Mouheiddine Kishli, a number of members of the Union’s administrative body, and several Mukhtars from Ras Beirut area.

In his speech, Dr. Sinno emphasized the social role of such facilities, which develop bonds and cooperation between people of the same region, pledging to do his best in joining the neighboring property with the aim of expanding the mosque and the hall as well as working to add another property to expand the school under the management of Ward Al-Makassed Empowerment Center, to provide inhabitants with its services. Dr Sinno also discussed the future establishment of a healthcare center.

On behalf of Ras Beirut people, Abdul Latif Riad Itani delivered a speech where he recalled the virtues of late Hajj Khalil Chehab, stressing the necessity of cohesion and solidarity among inhabitants of Ras Beirut.

Representing the Khalil Chehab Mosque Committee, Saeed Mustafa Chehab then reviewed the recent achievements of the mosque committee and the tireless efforts that allowed the completion of the rehabilitation of the hall.
